Xena may be a Malamute but not listed on this site. Brought to us at 2 days (see my story below). I’m now ready to find my furever home that has a fenced back yard and cozy indoor beds for me:)

My story:
I was named Xena the warrior puppy princess because I was such a fighter and such a good eater after going through everything I went through after being orphaned so young.
I was found on the hot asphalt and my mommy had died and no other puppies were found. It was 120 degrees out in the desert in California. I was brought to the shelter and animal control contacted this rescue to meet halfway so that I would not be cares for immediately. My underbelly and my paws were burned from the asphalt and treated at Animal Control and at the rescue, my skin is healed with no scars. We thought I was a Husky but I do look more like a Malamute. This website breed list does not include Malamutes. 
I was bottle-fed and it was very expensive as they gave the pup milk with colostrum and I was a little piggy:) I did really well and thrived! Now I'm ready to find a wonderful family for my forever home. I must have a fenced yard to play in! Even though I'm an indoor dog that loves toys and soft beds:) My foster has socialized me with kids and dogs and taught me to go on a pee pad in my pen at night as a puppy (not a crate).

I may need more depending on my age, puppies continue to get their vaccinations and dewormings up to 14 to 16 weeks. If I am a puppy, I will have an appt. to be altered (at our vet) my alter fee is included in the adoption donation fee.  I have been treated with Frontline for fleas & ticks.
