Hi, my name is Fluffy...my story is common to the area where I live. I was bought for a very young girl and she dropped me on my foot so hard that my leg above my ankle broke. Then her mom (who never took care of brushing me or grooming me) took me right to the shelter after I started crying and holding my foot up. She didn't want to spend one penny on me at the vet - so she took me to the high-kill shelter. They would of had to put me down if this rescue did not take me in. They picked me up and went right to the vet and I had several x-rays and had to have a bone surgery to repair the bad break. I had to stay overnight. The rescue came and got me the next morning and took me to my foster home until my next vet appt. The good news is now (after my swelling goes down & my bones mends) I will be all better! The bad news is it was very expensive. They said I should heal just fine because I am so young. So, soon I will be able to be adopted... and I am looking for my forever home. Someone that will cherish me the way I want to cherish them...and keep me safe and spoiled!
