Hi, My name is Chili... which fits me great, because i have a lot of spunk and I smile! I am looking for for a very kind, gentle new family. My other family had men that hurt me and so I ran away. I feel like such a Lucky dog that this rescue got me out of the very scary shelter. I get to play with dogs all day! They also gave me my vaccinations (to keep me safe) and altered me (not too happy about that)... but that will help me stay safer too. I know they really love me, because they cuddle me and I give them kisses... but I need a forever home. So far, everyone that has wanted to adopt me had a man with them and that scared me so i barked and then they didn't want me anymore. I am being re-habbed out of this behavior... that is why puppy training would be so good for me. (Note - he is doing very well and only gets upset once in awhile. But here is why I am usually such a good boy - I come when I am called from playing outside, I am crate trained at night and when my foster mom is gone (this helps me stay potty trained) - but I only like my crate when I have lots of toys and chewies. I am very good on a leash and I love to be walked, I give you kisses (but not so much that it bugs you - and I do have to love you first). So pick me if you want a very devoted, playful and full of energy dog that is still a puppy (but full grown).

This adorabled dog is Chili and his adoption fee is $200. I was picked up as a stray with tags. The shelter contacted his owners 2 times to pay the fee, but they never came for this little cutie. He was on his last day when they called us to rescue him. What a happy guy he is and he just loves women (but only a few men) and to play with his toys! He is really well-behaved and now he is very good in a crate at night. He is a climber over wire fences. Please pick him if you want a great little guy to add to your family.
Please note: It appears that Chili has been hurt by men - we are working with him, but it would be best if he is adopted into a home without men living there on a regular basis. He would greatly benefit from puppy training and you do get a coupon for is when you adopt at Petsmart.
